Socialgrapes is an inventive Website, currently in public beta testing, that enables social browsing capabilities across a wide-ranging list of popular social networks including MySpace, Friendster and Match.com.

Social networking sites have become such an integral part of many people’s lives and sites or services that either enhance or implement social networking features will surely benefit from their increasing popularity.

Socialgrapes is, in essence, a search engine for social networks. Currently, users can search social networks for user profiles and also look up people based on movie, book, or music interests. There are additional tabs for photo and event searches, but as it is still in beta they are not yet available.

There is a lot of potential behind Socialgrapes concept – it could be prove to be a useful tool for both the social network addict as well as marketers reaching out to a particular audience. I will definitely keep an eye on this site as it develops and am eager to see how accurate the searches will turn out.
